Tosa West has been focusing their practice on watching film and preparing themselves for whatever plays and sets that Brookfield Central throws at them.
“We have some freshman boys coming up and doing scout team for us. And just doing the same old thing that we’ve been doing all season long just game prep to watch enough film, make sure that we’re fully prepared,” said Assistant Coach and Tosa West hallway monitor Caleb June.
The Tosa West players know what is needed in order to win as they have played Brookfield Central twice and beaten them once.
“We have played them three times this year and it’s been up and down each time we played them, but I feel like we’re pretty prepared for them.” Said junior Messiah Chambers.
The players believe in the process and what the coaches have been preparing them for. All that is needed is the application on Thursday.
“Our coaches will have us prepared to be successful Thursday night. We just have to follow through.” Said Junior Roman Long.
It seems as if the players at Tosa West have all of the pieces to the puzzle, they just have to put it together on Thursday.
“We’ve prepared all season for big games like this. Since we played this team twice this year already, we know a lot of their tendencies and have been keying in on that.” Said Junior David Hennings.
