On Friday, February 20th at 7pm, the Wauwatosa West and Menomonee Falls High School will play in a highly competitive Greater Metro Conference Showdown at Menomonee Falls High School.
The Trojan boys are currently tied second in the Greater Metro conference with Brookfield Central with a 10-4 conference record, and are currently 16-5 on the season. They are looking for an important win as Menomonee Falls recently defeated Germantown on Tuesday to jeopardize the Greater Metro conference championship standings for next week. Falls is currently 8-6, 14-8 on the season. They are currently in 5th place in the Greater Metro conference.
Menomonee Falls defeated the Trojans on January 16th, defeating them in a close matchup of 83-84 on the Trojan floor. The Trojans look forward to pursuing a win in Menomonee Falls.
Tosa West Senior Mathew Kloskey (MJ) is the leading scorer for the Trojans, averaging 23 points and 57% from the field. On the other side, Anthony Ness is averaging 14.6 points and 44.5% from the field. Several guys from both teams are averaging over 8 points a game.
Last week the Trojans faced a hard fought loss against Brookfield East to secure the Greater Metro Conference first place standing, 100-95. On Tuesday, The Trojans defeated Marquette 104-69. Menomonee Falls recently defeated Oak Creek 81 – 66 and Wauwatosa East 81 – 70. Their previous two games were also a win to Germantown 87 to 68 and Hamilton 65-41.
