On Friday, February 20th, the Wauwatosa West Girl’s basketball team went up against Menomonee Falls, for their final home season game where both teams fought hard for the win.
In the end the Tosa took the win, with a final score of 47-43. Along with an exhilarating game it was also senior night for the Tosa West Trojans. 
The seniors being recognized were; Dani Martinez,Gigi Clementi,Naomi Springfield, Amelia Luna, and Elle Bauer. The team celebrated their seniors by recognizing their strengths and all that they were grateful for about their seniors, they also celebrated by wearing warmup shirts with a list of all the senior’s names.
“I’m really sad because I’ll never be able to experience high school basketball again,” states senior Dani Martinez, “But at the same time I’m excited to open a new chapter in college basketball and see what that has for me.”
“My biggest regret is, I really wish I would’ve appreciated time more from all the time all 4 years, and I really wish I would’ve lived in the moment longer, and sucked in the time more because senior year went by so fast.” 
The Tosa West Girl’s basketball team has had a great season so far, their next game will be a sectional away game against Wisconsin Lutheran High School on Friday, February 27th at 7:00 PM. Wisconsin Lutheran is 15 and 9 with a recent win 47 to 43 over Waukesha North/South 80 to 31.
Tickets are 6 dollars for adults and 1 dollar for children 5 and under.
