The Spring Cabaret will take place at the Wauwatosa West Theater on Thursday, May 21st at 7pm.
The Cabaret includes nearly 15 student duets, solos and trios performing songs from broadway musicals such as Hamilton and Waitress. There will also be a performance of For Good along with many other exciting pieces.
Junior Evan Hyniewicki will act as student emcee
All performances will be accompanied by a 20 member student pit orchestra organized and led by senior Cameron Corragio. Student performers have been practicing for the event for the last 6 weeks.
“The cabaret is an opportunity for singers and musicians to get additional performance experience at a higher level” said Corragio
The Cabaret is open to students and the public. Admission is pay-what you can and all proceeds will go towards the Wauwatosa West music and theater departments.
“It’s super exciting to see what my friends are passionate about in theater and what kind of performances they would like to do if they got their dream role” says senior tech crew member, Elliot Engbring.
