Wauwatosa West’s newly formed Student Life Committee is sponsoring a Veteran’s Day fundraiser this year. Students will be able to wear any type of hat they please (not including those that are inappropriate for school, of course) on Veterans Day—Friday, November 11.
To do this, one simply has to make a donation of at least one dollar at the table set up in the Learning Center. This buys a special sticker that alerts teachers to the fact that the student is, in fact, allowed to be wearing a hat during school hours. All donations will be given to the Troop and Family Support Fund by way of the American Legion Post #449.
Stickers will be sold Friday morning before school in the Learning Center.
