WHAT’S NEXT?: Monday April 7th, the Trojans face Muskego for a non-conference game where they will look for their first win of the season.
PLAYER’S THOUGHT: “There was a number of mental errors today, it was the first game of the season and we simply didn’t have the right mindset, got in our own heads and that caused us to let up a lot of runs early” said Junior Devin Townsend.
OUR THOUGHTS: Starting a season with a loss is tough but the team was missing a number of star players due to preseason injuries. Brookfield Central is strong team this year with a number of star players contributing to them being ranked 1st in the greater metro standings. The late comeback runs against the #1 ranked team gives us hope for the rest of the season given that the Trojans were not at their best. In order for the Trojans to get the wins they are looking for they will need each player to be at their best and get rid of their mental errors early on.
