PLAYER’S THOUGHT: “ It was a great team win, and I think we responded under pressure. We had a tough third period, but luckily we came through when it counted most. Despite some challenging moments everyone kept their heads in it and fought hard. We remained calm and focused, working together as a unit. The win was a total team effort—each player contributed, and it was an exciting finish that really showcased our abilities.” Said Wauwatosa West senior Preston Slater.
OUR THOUGHTS: While Bayport is a good team with a 3-1-1 conference record, the Stars are ranked among the top of the state with a 5-0 conference record. The Stars were expected to get the win in a competitive game, and they did not disappoint.
