New Fiddleheads’ Coffee Wauwatosa Spot

The new Fiddleheads Coffee Wauwatosa location opened softly last week on March 16th. This new cafe will mark the eighth location of Fiddleheads family-owned Coffee Roasters. Fiddleheads’ Coffee’s grand opening will be on Saturday, March 25th, including a ribbon cutting with our City of Wauwatosa Mayor Dennis McBride at 11 AM on Saturday, along with a week-long promotion that will end on March 31st, offering customers 50% off at the new Tosa location with the full Fiddleheads menu and their new spring menu!

“We have our typical menu, but then we actually just came out with a ton of our seasonal items, so we’ve got new drinks and a bakery for spring. I think my favorite drink for the spring is the wildflower latte. It’s just a typical latte with lavender syrup and honey in it. Super good, and then in our spring bakery, we have a lemon balm cookie, which is like a sugar cookie filled with a lemon curd and then rolled with white sugar. It’s delicious, it’s super sweet. So if you’re into that, then that is the perfect bakery for you.” said Emily Fedewa, marketing manager of Fiddleheads.

In addition to the new menu items, customers can also expect to be welcomed by murals painted by local artist Emma Daisy. Emma is a local Milwaukee artist and muralist who is known for her vibrant use of color to paint plants and girls. The decor inside was picked out by the owners and the vice president of operations at Fiddleheads. At Fiddleheads, the emphasis on artists and local art is big. “We are always encouraging creativity and to have our cafes be just a creative space and canvas for artists to work with.” said Fedewa.

Earlier this month, Fiddleheads already began to show its commitment to the local artists in our community. “We just had a gala at the beginning of March to kind of honor all of those artists. It was a big event with live music and catering. That was actually all the food was made by our bakery department. And we had the mayor of Milwaukee come and speak and declare March 1, 2023, as Fiddleheads Coffee Day in Milwaukee. So that was really cool!” said Fedewa.

The three words Emily gives to describe Fiddleheads new Tosa spot are colorful, open, and community-focused. In fact, Fiddleheads has already opened its doors to honor members of the community.

Community focused is what Fedewa emphasizes the most. “Fiddleheads is very focused on community and engagement with the neighborhoods that we’re in. We’ve had such a great response from the Tosa community so far. Everyone is really excited for us to be here, and our customers have just been a delight!”
