INTO THE WOODS will be performed by the award winning Trojan Players on November 15th, 16th, 17th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd.

Student tickets are $12. Adult tickets are $15 and children are $8. The performances will be “in the round” where the audience will be seated on the stage, encircling the actors. Limited seats are available for each performance.

INTO THE WOODS tells the tale of different fairy tale creatures and their adventures into the woods. Each of the characters come together to try to break a spell before three midnights time.

For the first time at Tosa West, the Trojan Players are putting on a midnight production of the show. The midnight show will be held on Friday November 22nd following a 7pm show.

“There are two songs in the show called ‘First Midnight’ and ‘Second Midnight’. This sparked the idea of having a midnight showing of the show. It’s something unique and with all tickets only $5 it’s the perfect show for students to attend.” said director Adam David Steffan.

The leads starring in the production consist of Ella Stockbauer as Cinderella, Jess Kellner as Little Red Riding Hood, Zachary Nowacek as Jack, Henry Lehman as the Baker, Elisabeth Adam as the Baker’s Wife, and Sanaa Harper as the Witch.

The stage built for this production is a circular tree stump built by the tech crew. Stage left manager, senior Ethan Garder was on construction crew for this show. Garder has been apart of tech crew at West since his freshman year.

“Me and my friends wanted something new to do. We were getting bored after school, so we joined wanting something new and it turned out to be super fun,” said Garder.

Opening night is on Friday November 15th. Tickets can be purchased at the door and online at www.trojanplayers.com

The show on Thursday November 21st and the midnight show following the 7pm performance on Friday November 22nd are for a discounted price of $5. Tickets will only be sold at the door for these performances.

“INTO THE WOODS a great new experience for our students and the audience,” says Steffan.
